How to Install a DRS Key Hook: Step-by-Step Guide

This guide will help you install and use the DRS Key Hook correctly. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Prepare the 3M Double-Sided Tape

Take out the strip-shaped 3M double-sided tape included in the product package. Ensure the tape is intact (no wrinkles or damage) to guarantee strong adhesion.

Step 2: Attach the Tape to the Back Plate

Peel off one side of the tape’s protective film. Align the tape with the back plate of the DRS Key Hook (make sure it fits the plate’s shape and does not extend beyond the edges). Press the tape firmly onto the back plate for 10-15 seconds to ensure it sticks tightly.

Step 3: Tear Off the Remaining Protective Film

Peel off the other side of the tape’s protective film. Do not touch the exposed adhesive surface with your fingers to avoid reducing its stickiness.

Step 4: Fix the Hook in Place

Choose a smooth, clean, and dry surface (such as a wall, cabinet door, or refrigerator) where you want to install the hook. Press the hook (with the tape side facing the surface) firmly against the chosen area for 30 seconds. Ensure the hook is installed horizontally and does not shift.

Step 5: Wait for 24 Hours Before Use

Important Note: Do not hang keys or other items on the hook immediately after installation. Let the hook stand still for 24 hours to allow the 3M tape to fully bond with the surface. This step is crucial to ensure the hook’s stability and prevent it from falling off.

Step 6: Start Normal Use

After 24 hours of stand, check if the hook is firmly attached. If there is no looseness, you can hang your keys or small items (please do not exceed the hook’s weight capacity, as specified in the product manual) for daily use.
